New Fish 2009

Carp Lake

On January 15th we introduce some new fish and on the 29th received the remainder of the order. For the Carp Lake we took delivery of 19 double figure Carp, which included:
Mirrors
2x14lb
1x12lb
Commons
1X10lb
6X11lb
6x12lb
3x13lb

Pleasure and Traditional Lake

For the Pleasure and Traditional Lakes, in January 09 a mixture of 100x2lb commons and mirrors  were delivered and shared between the two lakes and a good number of Bream, with the larger Bream going into the Traditional Lake.

After assessing the affect of the new fish throughout the year, we found the Traditional lake has a good balance and has fished well, but to turn on the Pleasure lake and create some competition t tempt some of the bigger fish out, we have in October 09 introduced a large number  of smaller carp. Some of these new carp can be seen in the gallery from number 71 onwards.
