October 2009
The Traditional Lake has been fishing really well throughout the year with a Tench touching 9lb and other 5lb, 6lb and 7lb plus making an appearance. Now the weather is turning some nice 2lb plus perch are starting to get caught with a usual assortment of carp coming out as well as nice sized roach and rudd.
We have decided to wake up the Pleasure lake and create some competition for the nicer sized fish we know are in the, so we have introduced a large number of smaller carp to get thing going.
For the Pleasure and Traditional Lakes to encourage people to submit more photo's we we are starting to run photo of the month. If you submit one of your traditional or pleasure lake catches in digital form (email, disc etc) and it gets picked for photo of the month you will get a free day's fishing.
